We are excited to support the mission of Aruna Project. Lives are changed forever, and the women who are rescued from human trafficking are supported, educated, and empowered through this organization. We recently sponsored the first Aruna 5K Race in Indianapolis. The goal of 300 runners and walkers was surpassed! The video shows the start of the race. Here is the message of the Aruna Project

By providing empowerment through employment, the Aruna Project creates lifelong freedom marked by holistic care for victims of human trafficking. Our products are crafted in freedom by skilled Artisans who are finding their voice, experiencing independence and growing with a sisterhood of others who have overcome.
Transitional Housing
Once freed, whether with us or one of our partner organizations, we provide safe housing where she can sleep peacefully in a caring community.
Community
Artisans grow and develop personally and professionally in a caring sisterhood of others who have overcome and are now flourishing.
Counseling
After women are free, they enter into an environment marked by holistic care where they begin the healing process and begin to live life while building a foundation for their future.
Living Wage
Artisans earn 4x more than the average wage for an unskilled laborer and additional employee benefits. From each pay cycle, money is put into a Provident Fund contributing to retirement in Artisans’ later years.
Why Employment? People need opportunities to thrive, so we work to provide those for women in need of a bright future. Human trafficking disproportionately affects women from deprived socio-economic communities. Aruna offers empowerment through employment for survivors, a model that proves 8 out of 10 women can experience sustained freedom, dignity, and independence.
Where Do The Profits Go? When you support Aruna through purchasing products, 100% of the profits directly impact freed Artisans. When you participate in Aruna events, 100% of donations help free, employ, and empower. Simply put, your money goes to sustaining livelihoods for women who are mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends, all striving to live an independent life, support their families, and impact their communities.
